Traditional “identity proofing” systems typically require face-to-face comparisons of one or more forms of card-based identification and the associated information against a live applicant. These techniques are expensive, prone to forgeries and are totally impractical for web based applications involving large numbers of dispersed users.

Anakam.IDP™ ID Proofing solves this problem by providing cost effective, no-touch identity verification during the user’s initial enrollment for a particular web based application. This solution works by serving up multiple intelligent questions relating to an applicant’s history, such as something involving a previous address or an associated person. Questions are derived from public record data stores, based on information collected during the registration process and are neither intrusive nor embarrassing. During this 2-4 minute process, applicants must answer a high percentage of consecutive questions correctly, making it virtually impossible for an imposter to gain access.
