Credentialing Gateway

Many of today’s sensitive, web based applications require direct professional credentialing for gaining online access. Verifying users’ credentials is often a time consuming and expensive process, particularly for applications with large numbers of widely dispersed users. Our experience shows that these systems will enjoy higher adoption rates and function more effectively if the credentialing process is both secure and automated.

To accomplish this goal, Anakam’s credentialing gateway called Anakam.CGW™ allows an enterprise to automatically verify the professional qualifications of a particular user. This process occurs in a completely transparent manner without human intervention. Once an enterprise has verified a user’s identity through the identity proofing process, the Anakam.CGW™ Credentialing Gateway is customized to query the organization’s data files to establish credentials for a desired user set. As an example, picture a Hurricane Katrina type disaster where redeployed physicians require remote access to patient data repositories. In this scenario, our system would use queries to a physician master credentialing record to validate in real-time a practitioner’s medical credentials, certifications, etc and then have the capacity to push them into the permission set for the application to enable and disable certain access and capabilities.

Using data collected during the user registration process, our Anakam.IDP™ and Anakam.CGW™ solutions work in concert to thwart fraudsters before they are able to conduct a single transaction. These solutions combined with our transactional two-factor authentication system, Anakam.TFA™, provide an effective layered defense against online fraud.
