Founded in 2004, Anakam's sole mission is to enable the acceleration of eCommerce, eHealthcare and eGovernment by solving the problem of authenticating large and diverse web user bases. To this end, we have created a revolutionary platform for the implementation of strong authentication that is secure, scalable, cost-effective and easy to deploy. Equally important, our system is simple and unobtrusive for the end user. There is no need to carry hard tokens or download any software.

How We Do It
Traditionally, institutions achieve the “something you have” component of second factor authentication by enduring the cost and complexity of issuing hard tokens, USB fobs or smart cards. Anakam accomplishes the exact same level of second factor authentication at a fraction of the cost by using “something you already have.” That is, we register every day devices users already own or have access to such as cell phones, home phones, web-connected computers and office phones. With the barriers to adoption removed, companies and government entities can now provide cost-effective authentication solutions to millions of end-users in remote, diverse locations. Most importantly, armed with the ironclad assurance of end user identity, institutions can now move traditional paper-based services online - providing customers with better service, 24/7 convenience and a cost effective delivery model.

Unique in the industry, the Anakam Identity Suite® provides a single, integrated platform for not only two-factor authentication, but also no touch, risk-based identity verification and knowledge-based authentication. Using seamless access to numerous, proprietary consumer demographic and credit data sources, these systems prevent fraudsters from being able to enroll for online services on the front end. Once enrolled and accurately identified, our system allows you to check the professional credentials of a user electronically, prior to allowing access to downstream business applications. An example of the importance of the electronic verification of professional credentials would be a physician logging on to prescribe medication.

Anakam.ODI™ On-Demand Identity provides a comprehensive, web-based solution that delivers identity verification, identity proofing, credentialing, and two-factor authentication in an ASP model.
Anakam.VPC™ VPN Connector uses Anakam.TFA® interoperability to provide strong authentication for virtual private networks with a variety of SSL and IPSec VPN manufacturers.
Anakam.SCE™ Secure Collaboration Environment ensures that the enterprise’s data is only accessed by those authorized to do so and makes use of the strong identification and authentication processes established by the other tools in the Anakam Identity Suite®. Anakam.SCE™ enables enterprise collaboration for a variety of collaboration tools including instant messengers, wikis, and document management applications.
